Operation start of the Mayan train in 2024:
The Mayan train, connecting Tulum with the rest of the Yucatan Peninsula, is scheduled to open in 2023 and enter full operation in 2024. The Mayan train will directly connect 5 states, Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo, linking all the south east peninsula and connecting ancient Mayan cities with modern metropolises thus giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about the peninsula's treasures from Tulum with Cancun, Bacalar and Mahaual detonating an economical grow and business opportunities.
